14th April Weaner Sale
Our first Weaner Sale for the year is set for Thursday 14th April – a fortnight away. Prices have been outstanding and there is unprecedented demand for weaners and fresh vealers. We understand that calving may have been a little later this season but this is an opportunity to sell while the market is exceptional. Don’t hesitate to book your weaners in with our Livestock Team. Below is a graph showing the comparison on April versus July sales for 2010. The earlier sale always has an edge on the later sale and prices can be expected to be much better this April sale. We need bookings to hold the sale and vendors shouldn’t underestimate the profit of higher prices now versus weight later.
